Mission Critical Productions
Mission Critical Productions is a video production company founded by Emmy-winning producer Andrew Glazer, making documentaries about the dramatic changes going on in the world right now. I developed the site from scratch. The interface has a cinematic look and puts the films first.
The globe
An interactive Three.js globe that shows each production at its real coordinates. You can rotate the globe and open a film from the place where it was shot. The globe is drawn with a graticule, a tick ring and coordinate labels, so it matches the look of the rest of the site.
Custom slider
A custom slider that cycles through the featured documentaries with their stills, synopses and viewing links. I built it from scratch instead of using a library, so its motion, timing and keyboard behaviour match the design.
